Finding a place to celebrate your child's First Holy Communion, Baptism or Confirmation in Queens, NY takes lots of legwork. When the parish announces the date of the event there's a mad dash to make reservations at local restaurants, party rooms and catering halls. You've got to move fast in order to secure the date.
Luckily finding great entertainment for a family event doesn't take that much work. My magic show is the perfect entertainment solution. If you're inviting lots of family and friends then you're probably going to have a lot of children at the party. Unlike a traditional birthday party where all the kids are approximately the same age, there is a broader range at family parties. You'll have toddlers and babies, teenagers and preteens, kids and adults ... pretty much the entire spectrum of ages and backgrounds.
You could book something like a clown for the little kids but then you'd be leaving out the older ones. That's what so many parents like about booking a comedy magic show. Magic has broad appeal so that kids and adults will both enjoy it.
The show is designed around audience participation. That means I tried to get lots of family and friends to come up and volunteer for the magic tricks that I do. Everyone likes watching their family members having fun on stage. I was try to make the guest of honor the star of the show ( of course at baptisms that's hard to do since the baby is usually sleeping!)
Magic Show for Parties in Queens
The most popular format for the show is an hour-long magic and comedy show which includes lots of amazing sleight of hand magic, juggling, balloon animals and even a live bunny rabbit!
Every child gets a balloon sculpture ( ranging from balloon animals to crazy balloon hats) and they get to come up and see the bunny rabbit and pet him. It's a very interactive show that keeps the kids completely engaged. Unlike some performers who can't keep the attention of kids my show will keep them completely mesmerized.
Tricks Are Not Just For Kids!
If you have a lot of adults at your party you certainly don't want kiddie show performer, you want someone I can entertain the grown-ups! That's what makes my show different from so many other magicians in Queens ... I do a true family-style show that has something for everyone. I've worked in every major comedy club in New York City as well as countless corporate events and private parties for sophisticated adults so I know how to entertain a whole bunch.
