Experience. I've been a full-time professional magician for years. I started performing magic at parties when I was a kid in high school and 30 years later I'm still at it. No, I'm not quite decrepit yet, I'm only 47.
Variety. When you hire me to entertain at your event I bring my than just amazing magic. I makes in a number of other variety arts and circus arts into the show.
Juggling. It's fast, visual and funny. My juggling routine is one of the highlights of the show.
Puppetry. Variety is the spice of life and that's why I try to mix in so many different things into my show. I've got a crazy puppet who suddenly appears in the middle of my magic show and creates quite a commotion! The kids absolutely love him.
Comedy. I perform standup comedy at a number of clubs and colleges. While I don't do airplane jokes for toddlers I do bring the art stand up comedy into the show. My comedy magic format means that your guests will be laughing and applauding all throughout the show.
Audience participation. I realize that when you're having a birthday party the star of the show is the birthday child. That's why I always make a point of inviting the birthday child and other guest to come up and volunteer to be part of the show. Everyone enjoys seeing their family and friends take part in a fun show and doing silly things on stage.
Live bunny rabbit. I have an adorable little bunny that kids absolutely love. Towards the end of my magic show the bunny appears and does an amazing card trick that defies description!
It's a pretty funny routine involving the birthday child in the bunny rabbit. Of course, I go to great lengths to keep my bunny rabbit healthy, comfortable and safe. Unlike some magicians who might pull a bunny out of a hat, I have a much less stressful way of working the bunny rabbit into the show.
After the show, the children are allowed to come up and give the rabbit a pet. They are so enchanted by my adorable bunny rabbit that it makes a perfect photo opportunity.
Availability. I travel all over New York City performing at all types of parties. Birthday parties are a big part of my weekend schedule. I'm also available for Communion parties, bar mitzvahs, family get-togethers, anniversary parties, first birthday parties, picnics, and all sorts of offense where people get together to have fun.
The only downside is that I can only handle a handful of parties per day. In the city as big as New York, that means I get more calls for shows that I have time. Often times time booked months or even a year in advance, especially for my repeat customers who know how difficult it can be to reserve my show for a busy dates like Christmastime. But that doesn't mean I don't have openings for this weekend.
